Congress trades First Amendment for Jewish campaign cash


"As far as I’m concerned, the members of the U.S. Congress have proved whose side they’re on. It’s more important for them to support Israel than it is to support the American people, because Jews have the cash to get them elected whereas ordinary voters do not. The vast majority of members of Congress have voted to deny Freedom of Speech — guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution — in favor of restricting what Americans may say about Israel, and about Jews in general."
