I want to honor the dear brother Aaron Bushnell - the young American Air Force veteran who was so disturbed by the genocide of Palestinians that he set himself on fire yesterday at the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC.
Instead of harming someone else, he made a choice to at of course seems strange and disturbing to all of us, but I empathize with him.
Daily, I grapple with just how ineffective we all are at stopping this. And sometimes I feel like my heart and soul and brain have been broken by all of this evil.
