Jewish leaders upset by Mel Gibson's lifetime achievement award at festival

Mel Gibson picked up a lifetime achievement award at the opening of the 2014 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic on Friday amid protests from the country's Jewish leaders.
Officials at the Federation of Jewish Communities objected to the honour, claiming Gibson's 2004 movie "The Passion of the Christ" portrays Jews as "evil and blood-thirsty.
