Word of the Day: EXPOSE

ex·pose  verb \ik-ˈspōz\

: to leave (something) without covering or protection
: to cause (someone) to experience something or to be influenced or affected by something
: to reveal (something hidden, dishonest, etc.)


Examples of EXPOSE

  1. The shingles had fallen off, exposing the wood underneath.
  2. Undercover investigators exposed the scam.
  3. They threatened to expose him.
